Isack Hadjar returns to top form at the Bahrain GP in Malaysia despite a bittersweet qualifying session with a penalty.<\/h2>\n

Qualifying brought mixed feelings for Isack Hadjar at the Bahrain GP in Malaysia<\/strong>: despite an impressive third place, the Red Bull driver must serve a grid penalty.<\/a> He will therefore start eighth tomorrow after replacing several power unit components, notably the internal combustion engine (ICE).<\/p>\n

Concerns had surfaced about Hadjar missing races due to his summer injury. However, the Frenchman has surprised many by confirming Red Bull’s competitiveness on Sepang’s track. His teammate Max Verstappen\u2019s pole position proves this point well.<\/p>\n

“Everything went really well, I\u2019m happy to be back this weekend,”<\/em> said driver #6 after qualifying in an interview with Formula 1. “I enjoy fighting for the top three positions. Although it wasn\u2019t my best qualifying session, third place is enough,”<\/em> he added.<\/p>\n

Hadjar expressed satisfaction with his performance, though the penalty looms large on a circuit where overtaking is not easy. However, he remains optimistic. “It\u2019s a bit unfortunate to have a penalty here on a track where we are the fastest,”<\/em><\/strong> he stated. “But I believe we can recover from the cockpit and aim for a good result,”<\/em> he concluded.<\/p>\n

Red Bull targets strong race with Verstappen and Hadjar<\/h3>\n

Red Bull demonstrated notable competitiveness throughout the weekend in Malaysia. There is no doubt Verstappen will be targeting victory in tomorrow\u2019s race, potentially securing a one-two finish alongside Hadjar.<\/p>\n

Remember, the Bahrain GP at Sepang is scheduled for tomorrow morning at 9 a.m. Italian time.<\/p>\n
